TVP is Flavor-Like Beef Chunks
which are actually a meat analogue product produced through a special
extrusion process which provides a 100% vegetable product that
approaches the texture and structure of meat. This highly nutritious
meat substitute is processed from defatted soy flour which contains
more than 52% protein along with 18% total dietary fiber. Textured
Vegetable Protein has been used for many years in U.S. Food Nutritional
Service programs, and has been an integral part of the School Lunch
program because the recognized health and nutritional benefit of soy
protein in the diet. The added benefit of low moisture and low fat
content make these Flavor-like Beef, Chicken, Taco and Bacon Chunks of Textured Vegetable Protein and ideal product for long term food storage and family preparedness.
Ingredients: Textured Vegetable Protein (soy flour,
caramel color), partially hydrogenated soybean oil, water, salt,
hydrolyzed corn-soy-wheat protein, autolyzed yeast.

Each can is packaged with an Oxygen Absorber that adds life and longevity to our products. This significantly extends shelf life and freshness. Our
Oxygen Absorbers completely eliminate residual oxygen in our canned products, keeping them fresh and preventing discoloration. These Oxygen Absorbers are used
widely in the Food Service Industry to preserve foods like beef jerky,
nuts, grains, flour, and just about any dried foods.

All cans, cases and units are shipped FREE! Most orders ship same day if ordered by 2 pm (EST). Many other companies average 2 weeks before they ship. Usually this is because they are the middleman and do not stock the products.
